Crashing into an Old Flame

Chapter 199: Don’t you miss home?

They were the old employees that she used to know. They used to bootlick her because Ryle treated her rather well back then.

But then, she left the job and disappeared. All of them must have known that she had gotten on Ryle’s wrong side hence none of them seemed to have any intention of approaching her now,

Daisy walked straight to Ryle’s office and knocked twice on the door before stepping inside.

A woman was sitting on Ryle’s desk as she stripped the layers of her clothes slowly while Ryle glanced at his watch impatiently.

Daisy’s lips twitched slightly. Even if he was uninterested, the woman was still stripping for him. Was it hard for him to show a little interest to make her happy?

Daisy felt a bit sorry for the woman but when Ryle’s gaze locked on her, she realized that she might feel more sorry for herself later on.

’’You are here,’’ Ryle dismissed the woman who hastily dressed up and rushed out of the office, not before pausing to admire the other handsome man who stepped inside the room.

Ryle glanced at the man who was cluelessly seducing women around him, ’’Come here, take a seat,’’ he pointed to the chair opposite to him.

Daisy quietly approached the table and took a seat.

After a moment of silence, Ryle rubbed his chin and spoke up, ’’When the incident with Si Yena occurred, I told you that to forget one woman, you should get another.’’

Daisy paused for a moment, not knowing what to say. She was a woman, so was Si Yena and she was straight. Even if she had no fondness for men, she did not prefer women romantically either.
