Despite her reluctance, Diana stayed put in his arms as he kicked open the door and entered the room which was enshrouded in darkness. The moonlight cast soft shadows over them, highlighting their features.
The door closed behind them with a soft ’click’.
While the silence stretched between them, she remained still but her hands that were hooked around his neck stroked the back of his neck on instinct.
Maxim noticed her actions, ’’Are you seducing me?" He placed her down on the floor as soon as they entered the room.
As the coldness seeped into her feet, she realized that the huge bunny slippers she had put on in a hurry were missing in action.

Maxim’s breathing was uneven. He grabbed her hand, sliding it down his chest.
Diana felt his muscles flexing under her touch and her heart raced when he dragged her hand further down until she felt heat permeating through his pants. She felt like her palm was scalded and her face flushed in the darkness.
