Chapter 51: Casino Night Fun
After the first greeting, he looked at Louis. "Mr. Envoy, come in, please. We have several things to brief you on."
"Good."
Louis followed closely behind the Butler as he was shown around the mansion.
This was quite large and belonged to a wealthy city man who worked for the House of Shadows as a vendor of information about many city movements.
Louis was directed to the Main Hall, next to the Awakened Ones. Inside, an older man with a slightly soft look wearing some scarves to protect his nose greeted them.
"Cough..." He coughed a little before speaking. "Gentlemen, welcome to my home." He smiled. He looked very sick since he coughed again before continuing.
"We were informed of your mission, so we looked up all the information you need beforehand. The mission’s location and information about the people who were awakened there. Feel free to read it."
Several scrolls were placed on the table between them.
"Also." He continued. "The House of the Ancient Moon requests a meeting with the Envoy of the House of Shadows. I wonder if you is willing to meet with them." He looked at Louis as he spoke.
He first took the liberty of reading all the information gathered, then put the parchment away, and then looked up to see the sick man.
"What would your name be?" He asked.
