Chapter 41: Offer
Hardrial nodded. "That’s right. The Magic World is vast and complicated because it demands perfection. But don’t blame yourself. It’s very difficult to make those patterns, so if it takes you this long to get it wrong, it’s already a good sign. You just need to improve your speed, and everything will be fine." He spoke.
"I’ll leave you studying those three power runes for the rest of the time. There will be no more classes for today, so you can study here or go train somewhere else. Miss Laura, I hope you can teach Louis a little bit about how each step is performed correctly."
"That’s fine." She nodded. "Will you go talk to the president of the Academy?"
"Yes. If he calls me so strongly, I assume the subject is important. I’ll be back when I’m done, and if you’re still around, I can help you with whatever you need."

Outside, Professor Niles was still waiting for him, so he went after him as soon as he saw him appear.
They both walked toward the Academy’s Main Tower, where the Academy President and other high-ranking people were waiting.
"Sir Hardrial, long time no see, what happened? You’ve been a long time coming." The president stood up with a smile and invited him to sit down.
"President Miroc, long time no see." Hardrial greeted. "You caught me at a bad time, as I was teaching my new student some important concepts of magic fabric construction. But I came as soon as I could."
His words caused a few people in the room to frown, including the Academy’s vice president.
"Making the president wait just for a student? What is this disrespect?" growled one of them. The man was of impressive status—he was the Third Board Member—and he was only behind Miroc and the Vice President among those present.
