Bloodbound Tyrant: The System Made Me Unstoppable

Chapter 35: The Awakening of Luxius

Lucien fell.

Not through space—but memory, blood, and shattered identity.

The black void consumed him like a hungry mouth, swallowing his essence piece by piece. Around him, echoes of his past screamed like dying gods—Calista’s first kiss under the blood moon, his father’s betrayal in the marble halls of their estate, the slaughter at Blackridge where he’d first tasted true power, and his first system message glowing in crimson letters. They twisted together, corrupted, out of sequence, like someone else was rewriting his story with ink made of malice.

Each memory burned as it passed through him. The pain of his mother’s death. The ecstasy of his first kill. The moment he’d realized the system wasn’t just guiding him—it was learning from him, growing stronger with each drop of blood he spilled.

Then... he hit the floor.

Hard.

Stone cracked beneath him in a spider web of fractures that pulsed with veins of molten gold. He gasped as air rushed into his lungs—thick, burning, wrong. It tasted of copper and ancient sins. He was in a room unlike anything he’d seen before. A palace of bones that stretched impossibly high, defying geometry and reason. The walls were shaped from ivory ribs and vertebrae, each one carved with names in languages that predated human speech. The chandeliers dripped blood instead of wax, each crimson drop hitting the floor with the sound of a funeral bell.

At the far end stood a throne—not made for a man, but something older. Something that had ruled before the first star was born. It was carved from a single piece of obsidian, inlaid with gold that moved like liquid mercury, forming patterns that hurt to look at directly.

"System," he whispered, his voice echoing in the vast chamber.

No response.

He blinked hard, trying to summon the familiar interface that had been his constant companion for years.

His system interface was... gone.
