Chapter 17: One Soul, Two Bodies
The moonlight over Silvertide was thick with magic.
Trees bent in reverence, silver mist clung to the air, and two identical women circled Lucien beneath the broken canopy of an ancient temple. The ruins of the Wolf King’s altar glowed faintly with old blood runes, long forgotten by man but not by beast.
Lyra and Liora.
Barefoot, dressed in silver-threaded robes that clung like whispers to their curves. Their long silver hair flowed like rivers, golden eyes locked on him with hunger—and something else.
Challenge.
Lucien stood tall, bare-chested, his Lustfire pulsing beneath his skin.
"You’ve hunted long enough," he said, voice low. "Time to be caught."
Liora stepped forward, her smirk sharp. "You think it’s that easy?"
Lyra circled behind him, fingers grazing his back. "Catch one of us... and you lose the other."
