Chapter 472: A beautiful mistake
Ariel could not process what was happening. His lips were scorching and addictive. Her heart was pounding. Her head screamed to push him, but bloody hell, she didn’t remember the last time she was kissed like this.
His mouth tasted like wine, and the more she kissed him, she slowly realised what was happening. His body was burning; she could feel the heat emanating from his chest, placed on her palm.
Their lips parted for a short moment and she finally could see those burning gold eyes. It was the prince. His face was flushed, his breath rough like he was fighting something.
Ariel had an idea what was going on. A few months ago, one of their neighbours’ daughters was forced to marry because the soup she prepared for a merchant she fancied made him lose his mind and devour her.
Ariel overheard Claire speaking about the incident, that the girl set a trap and the one who was actually lured was the young man. In the forest, there were these special mushrooms that only affected men, increasing their sexual urges; they weren’t aware of what they did under the influence.
It wasn’t a surprise that the prince was targeted. Ariel’s thoughts were interrupted when lips started roaming around her neck and it turned out to be her sensitive spot. The moan escaped her lips before she could register it.
It was hard to think straight when his lips were on her, with his hands roaming on her thighs. She subconsciously wrapped her legs around him. His lips never left her and she didn’t know how they made it from the hallway to the bed.
It was the room the prince was using because she could recognise his armour set out on the table. He was lost to the drugs and she was completely drunk on the lust.
Her core clenched, her folds completely wet craving attention. "I can’t stop myself," he struggled to say when his lips left her. Without a word, he reached out for his jacket, pulling it off before proceeding to the shirt, which had too many annoying buttons. He tore it apart, her eyes went wide, and she was stunned by the sight.
One is his perfect torso and two is his behaviour. At this point, she was confused whether she should run to call for help or give in to the temptation. Her reputation would be ruined after Tonight, but curse the devil, how could she run from this masculine perfection?
