Lighting struck from the sky, the darkness disappeared for a split second and the bright light took over. Cedric jumped off in a split second, using his fastest speed. Then another set of bright lights appeared in front of them as a rune formed, and Callista and Lucian stepped out.

With the appearance of Callista and Lucian, the fight changed. Cedric did his best to hold back Lucian while the others attacked Callista while evading the arrows from Alfonso.

The fight was getting hopeless, and that was when Cedric realised the injury he had from Lucian’s blade was not healing. A golden energy wrapped around Lucian’s blade as it crashed with Cédric’s. In terms of swordsmanship, they were not far apart, but Lucian’s strength had suddenly improved, and for the first time, Cedric was feeling a gap in their strength.
