The Flamesworth family was as strong as the pillars of Darconia. The major families that built the kingdom alongside the Von Drakkar family. Some even considered them among the group as they were present at the beginning.
Unlike other families that had large Duchies like the Nightshade that controlled Vesper and the temple, the Flamesworth family didn’t have that control. Although they had wealth and other properties, their influence was due to their extensive medical knowledge and the control over the North Magic Towers, who were in charge of making several high-grade magic items, especially healing artefacts.
Abrielle had written back to Fiona and Cecilia and they all agreed on meeting in Cecilia’s place.
The Flamesworth home was in the middle of an expensive settlement located on the inner island of Vitalis, which wasn’t far from the palace and seaside castle.
Abrielle’s eyes stared at the blurry green field as she rode from the seaside castle into the luxurious urban area. This place was more beautiful than the mainland because of the luxurious beauty that the architecture and wealth displayed.
Soon, the carriage stopped in front of the Flamesworth home. From the red flag carrying the Flames’ coat of arms, Abrielle was sure this was the Flamesworth family.
She stepped out of the carriage, and the windy air blew her hair, scattering it all over her face. "Welcome, Princess Abrielle," she heard a familiar voice say.
Abrielle smiled seeing Cecilia, who was curtseying before her, alongside the beautiful Camilla, whose emerald eyes sparkled.
Abrielle smiled at a silly thought. Why would Richard be willing to let go of such a beautiful wife?
