Chapter 382: The letters part 1
The weather was nice today, Abrielle was in Cedric’s study, which she used at times to handle her business. Today she had a couple of things to approve concerning the household.
In the absence of Cedric, every document that passed through her for approval. "The house expenses have dropped," Abrielle muttered seeing the last report.
"That was because the prince wasn’t in the castle for most of last month. He was busy searching for his missing wife." Lucas explained like she wasn’t Cedric’s missing wife.
She signed the last paper and then passed it to Lucas, the household accountant. Lucas has been using the accounting method she taught him which made his work more concise to understand.
"Are there any other documents I have to attend personally?" Abrielle asked Lucas. He nodded.
"There are some letters that just arrived addressed to you ." He informed Abrielle, then started sifting through a pile to find the letters.
"I am sorry for not giving them to you immediately. When they arrived last night, you were asleep?" Lucas explained then he bowed slightly as he gave her the letter.
There were multiple letters, but one with a duchy caught her attention first. It was the Danbury seal. Fiona had written back to her.
She unsealed the letter and her eyes started to read between the lines.
