Chapter 366: Journey back home
Abrielle sneezed for the hundredth time today, and Evelyn was getting concerned. She didn’t want to think much about it yesterday when she sent the girls away, but ever since she woke up this morning, she has been sneezing.
Evelyn ordered some soup to be made for her, which she had in the morning, but the symptoms didn’t subside, and the maid was getting paranoid her lady might have gotten a cold.
"Achoo," Abrielle sneezed, rubbing her nose with a handkie. Evelyn’s lips were pressed into a thin line. They were approaching the courtyard where carriages were lined up.
Cedric has been very busy since yesterday making arrangements for their journey back to Vitalis. "Are you sure you will be able to travel, Your Highness?" Evelyn asked.
Abrielle shook her head; she wasn’t feeling sick. Maybe she was allergic to something. "Yes, I am fine. Maybe it’s just an allergic reaction." She shrugged off.
She stepped out of the shade under the bright sunlight, a wild blow across, taking off her hat. Abrielle screamed trying to catch it as she jumped
She missed the hat, her eyes only sympathetically watching it as it flew away in the direction of the knights. Luckily Cedric had spotted the hat and easily caught it with his height.
"Cedric," she chimed once she spotted him. She grabbed the excess of his gown walking briskly to the prince that just spotted her.
He whispered a few words to his men before turning around. He walked a few steps before meeting up with her. "You dropped this." He mentioned helping her to put on the hat as he carefully tied the string.
