The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband

Chapter 336: his darkest secret

Abrielle stared at Cedric in shock. He thought she was scared by the gory story but that wasn’t the case.

What was going on? Something was definitely strange. In the original novel, she wrote; The Dragons and the priestess, Cedric told Callista how he got his title as the infamous blood-lusted demon. She remembered the story because she had written it herself.

During Cedric’s first battle, Eleanor had deliberately sent him off with weak soldiers just to get rid of him. His group was attacked, and there was no chance of survival. Cedric was inexperienced, and the soldiers were not used to battle. In no time, almost every one of them was killed except Cedric. It was during the battle his face got scared with a long scar that ran across his left eye.

When it was time to kill the prince, the enemy’s army changed their minds and thought it was better to capture the prince of Darconia.

Cedric was captured, tortured and humiliated. They pushed him to the brink, and he lost his mind. Cedric changed that night; using his intelligence, he freed himself and single-handedly killed the entire camp.

There were no wings or marks. The stories were alike but different. "You are terrified of me. Well, you just have to get used to it because I have done worse." Cedric scoffed, his hands curled into a fist as he stared at her expression.

Why did he have to answer? She wasn’t ready to know the monster he was. "Cedric," she said, she could sense the hint of sadness in his voice when he scoffed.

She grabbed his clenched fist and pulled him in. He was startled and taken, unaware the next thing he knew, her arms freed from the chain wrapped around his head as she hugged him next to her bosom.

She said something he never expected. "I am sorry you never got to meet your mother. If she was alive, Eleanor would not have gone far," Abrielle said and his gaze softened.
