The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband

Chapter 325: the hunted becomes the hunter

The horn blew, and it began. Just as they had planned, they all scattered, running into the maze in small groups of three at most.

To increase their chances of winning the game, they had already predetermined how they would split every group, consisting of at least one person who had survived the culling. Abrielle’s group consisted of her, Abigail, and Heather.

After Camilla hid the weapons, Abrielle had some doubts and stopped her from telling anyone about the locations until the night before the culling, to reduce the chances of a snitch.

The other girls were confused as to why she suggested such a thing because they didn’t think there was a traitor among them, but you could never be too sure.

The moment they got into the intricate maze, the first thing they did was get rid of their shoes. "Let’s hide them in the bush," Heather suggested.

"We can’t run in them, and they obviously leave prints." Abrielle quickly found a spot to hide her shoes. Next, they found sticks to cover their footprints as they ran.

They had 30 minutes to find a perfect place to hide. Heather, using her memories of the maze, found them a spot to hide first. They were almost out of time, and if they made a run for the forest, there was no way they could make it in 30 minutes. But before hiding, they had to find the spot where Camilla had hidden the weapons. She couldn’t get much, so it was based on luck if you were close to any of the locations.

"I don’t think we can get any weapon in time," Heather mentioned, panic filling her voice.

"We will be okay; it is almost time. Let’s get a place to hide," Abrielle reminded her of a more important problem. She wasn’t scared of fighting with knives.
