Chapter 184: Silent game 2
Abrielle and Cedric left the feast a bit early, Cedric was not fond of parties despite being rather charming when it came to interacting with people. He might be known as a tyrant but he did have the charms of a prince.
The main reason they had to retire early was because his little ginger wife was tipsy and it would be a shame for her to act up in public. Abrielle, being determined to Ignore Cedric, ended up drinking a bit too much.
The night quickly went by, and Abrielle had the room to herself that night. The wedding marked the end of the Winter prayer, and the next day, the royal family was preparing to head back to the capital.
Ophelia and Ryker were to leave for Galvai immediately for their honeymoon and some official procedures since their marriage was held in a rush outside of Galvai due to that reason Sapphire was meant to be left on Darconia to oversee the treaty process something the princess loved and Abrielle found troublesome because she would be seeing the princess much longer.
Abrielle woke up with a nasty hangover in the morning. Her head was spinning, but she had no choice but to get ready to move. After taking a bit of soup and medication, the side effects lessened, but she wasn’t feeling any better.
"Prince Cedric is already waiting for you in the carriage," Evelyn informed her. Abrielle sighed feeling depressed at the thought of the journey ahead.
"I guess it is time," she sighed again then made her way out of the room. An arc of the story was over, and by now, the female lead and male lead relationship should have made considerate growth, especially thanks to Callista’s heroic actions to save Queen Eleanor.
Something unexpected happened, which was a miscarriage and her power acting up, but thankfully, Alfonso kept his mouth shut about seeing her around the crime scene, so she was safe for now.
They made their way to the main entrance of the temple where several carriages were lined. Some noble families that had travelled to the temple for the winter prayer were already travelling down the mountain.
Something popped up in Abrielle’s mind; she had been so busy she forgot her fur ball. "Where is Yuki?" She asked the maids that were accompanying her stiffened. Evelyn and Zoltana were a bit hesitant to answer so the youngest in the group answered her. "We didn’t take Yuki along," Jubilee answered.
"Why?" Abrielle asked; they just exited the temple, and her eye darted around the crowd until it found her annoying husband, who was talking to her dear cousin Sebastian.
"The prince directed it," Jubilee answered. ’Cedric again!!!’ Abrielle thoughts screamed. She was glaring daggers at him which wasn’t very princessly of her to do.
