Chapter 157: Blood lust
The maid was initially blinded by her lust. She failed to realize how dark Cedric’s face was until the sharp, agonizing pain pierced through her body, snapping her from her trance-like state. She was imagining all the wealth and power that comes with being his mistress.
She wasn’t greedy and knew being a wife and concubine might be much to ask for. "Ahhh," she tried to scream, but her voice couldn’t even reach what was considered a scream. She could barely whimper in his grasp, she fell on her knees, basically crawling with her eyes beading with tears.
"It hurts," she whimpered, feeling her bones being crushed by his grip. The dream she had earlier started falling apart. Cedric was truly amazed at her foolishness, his face twisting in disgust.
His grip tightened, feeling her bones snap in his grip. Blood burst out of her mouth as she had bit her tongue so hard it bled. The metallic taste of blood filled her mouth, her scream mixed with cries.
She cried begging for him to let go. Her words were a blur to Cedric. He could not hear her and was genuinely amused by the look of pain on her face. More like he chose not to listen to her.
Her screams were loud, but they didn’t even cross the door; no one was going to help her. Cedric had already warped the room with his magic, making it soundproof. Even if they did heard her no one would dare step in.
"Please let go, I I," her voice broke when another of her bones snapped in his grip. A smile graced his lips, his eyes a very dark shade of black. "You want me to let go," Cedric asked with pure amusement. Acting oblivious like he didn’t understand what she said.
"Yes, please, your Highness." She pleaded; her entire body was soaked with sweat, and her body trembling with her nails clawing the marble floor. "Alright then." Cedric chimed, letting go of her hand. She could not move her arm as it was numb from pain and completely crushed.
Having a sense of freedom her brain seemed to have snapped in place. She finally realized how dumb she was. She thought she could seduce someone rumoured as a demon. He was the Dev l himself; her body continued to tremble, her gaze still on his face.
How could someone so dark have such an ungodly face? She would have called him an angel if he had not crushed her bones with just his grip. How was it possible for someone to be that strong? She struggled to get away running for the door.
Cedric only watched how she shook in fear and pain. He would not lie if he said he hated it. He loved every part of it; it was truly an entertaining sight for him. That was just how fucked up he was. If he was called a demon he would not even argue.
She ran for the door that was slightly ajar, as she hadn’t closed it entirely. Her intention was for a maid to find her together with Cedric so that the word would spread around the castle.
