Chapter 17: Star Castle [II]
Azel found himself alone in a luxurious guest room, easily ten times the size of his old one back at Steven’s cottage.
The bed was massive, adorned with gold-lined sheets, plush pillows, and a headboard shaped like a blooming lily.
A soft red carpet muffled his steps, and the wide windows let in the faintest rays of afternoon sunlight.
He noticed a walk-in closet stocked full of clothes — fine tunics, silk-lined robes, perfectly his size.
"How the hell did they get my measurements?" Azel muttered, a frown creasing his brow. "That’s not creepy at all."
But there wasn’t time to linger on that thought.
His bones were tired, not from physical exhaustion, but from everything that had happened over the past couple of days.
The emotional weight of saving not one, but two heroines, clinging to secrets only he knew... it was enough to make anyone need a long rest.
He sat cross-legged on the bed and reached into his inventory —his finger brushing the transparent ripple of the system’s storage space.
A small glowing portal blinked into existence and from it he pulled out the Supreme Aura Pill, a pure white orb that pulsed softly like a beating heart.
’According to the lore and devs, these rooms are soundproof and even energy-proof. As long as I don’t detonate anything or swing a sword through the ceiling, nobody outside should even know I’m using a relic-tier item.’
