Chapter 82: So Many Questions
At 8:12 in the morning, Hyerin received a call.
"This is Detective Alex Lee. Am I speaking with Ms. Hyerin Lim, the manager of Mr. Averie Quinn Auclair?"
"Yes, that’s correct."
Hyerin’s voice was a little higher than usual. She attracted Averie’s attention and pointed at her phone.
’The police,’ her silently moving mouth seemed to relay.
"The pigs?" Averie muttered, trying to read her lips. "Wow, she’s quick to adapt."
He looked proudly at Min-Ha.
"Wonderful, isn’t she? Not a day passes by after my criminal activity, and she is already calling them pigs. She makes me proud, that girl."
"I don’t know what you are drinking, but I would love some of that."
The detective continued, "We wanted to ask Mr. Auclair some questions, and we—"
"Questions about what?" Hyerin interrupted.
