After the leader said this, he received a punch to the face.
He couldn’t help wincing at the pain that came from this punch since that fist hit him much harder than he had been expecting.
This was one of his subordinates, so he naturally knew how strong he was and he clearly had never been this strong.
It was as if this person had suddenly gotten stronger after disappearing.
Seeing that he wouldn’t stop, the others had no choice but to attack this person as well. They had to take him down just to stop him from doing anything to them, though they didn’t seem like they were planning to kill him.
It seemed like this person had a connection to whoever was keeping them here since he had been able to open the door.
If they wanted to escape, they needed him to open the door.
Only it didn’t seem like there was any reaction from this person no matter what they did.
Seeing that they couldn’t hold him down, they started punching him in hopes that he would stop from the pain. Only it didn’t seem like he even reacted to the fact that they were punching him.
It really seemed like he was completely numb to anything that was happening around him.
"What is wrong with him? Did he lose all sensation in his body?"
"Look at his eyes, it even seems like it’s gone glassy. It’s almost as if he’s not conscious at all."
