It was a very simple room that was waiting for me.
This room didn’t have anything special in it other than a pedestal that was at the center of the room.
On the pedestal was something that was even more normal looking than the pedestal itself.
This was an item that seemed to be some kind of disc and nothing else.
From a distance, it didn’t seem like this disc was made of any special materials. It really seemed like nothing more than an ordinary disc that was made from glass.
But a smile appeared on my face the moment that I saw this.
After all, this was the item that I had been looking for.
This was the second hero’s relic.
The official name for this item was the Sacred Shell.
Though this item wasn’t named because of its appearance, it was named because of the ability that it possessed.
"Now I’ll have a proper defensive item to go along with the hero’s sword. This balances out the offensive abilities that the sword gives me." I said to myself as I walked towards the pedestal.
