Chapter 69: Verdant Forest (4)
In the end, I was surprised to see them suddenly raise their hands towards that tree.
As they raised their hands, there was this green light that came out of their hands and flowed into that tree.
The tree didn’t seem to resist the green light that flowed into it and even greedily sucked it in as if it wanted as much of this power as possible.
But after absorbing the green light for a bit, it seemed to slow down the flow of the green light. It seemed like it was slowly becoming satisfied with whatever energy this green light represented.
Once it was satisfied with it, it seemed like it was beginning to release the same green energy as it had swallowed.
But when it released this energy, there was this strange phenomenon that appeared.
This green energy gathered in front of it before suddenly forming what seemed to be a portal that was made of that green energy. That portal became bigger and bigger until it was the same height as a person.
Then after that, the portal opened up so that it was wide enough for a normal person to walk through.
After this green energy portal was formed, Qilynn turned back to me to say, "This is the way forward, please come with me."
I gave a nod as I followed her, but I couldn’t help taking a look at the tree that they had gathered around.
I wanted to see if there was anything special about this tree.
