Chapter 4: Avatars (2)
One set was the same as before.
The other set was a different person.
It took a while for me to get used to having split vision like this, but I was able to slowly make out the details.
"This is me?"
Or rather, it was the face that I had seen in the mirror earlier.
"Shared Senses, this is what it has to be."
That was the only explanation for this phenomenon, but how was I supposed to release this?
It was slowly getting more and more disorientating seeing doubles like this and there was no way to function like this.
"Shut it off." I finally said in one desperate attempt when things were getting dizzier for me, but it actually turned off to my surprise. It seemed that I was still the one that was in charge of these skills, so I could turn them on and off when I wanted.
After taking another moment to recover, I started looking at the avatar that was in front of me.
"He really is handsome." This was the only thing that I could say as I looked at this avatar in front of me.
