Chapter 9: Awakening the Quantum Sight
Although there is no hostility for now, I do not appreciate others actively peering into my business. I need to recover my strength faster. Once I do, I could easily mask my actions from being observed by anyone employing prediction-type abilities. Not even world overseers with their nigh omniscient awareness in their territories could actively observe my actions.
Having decided on a course of action, Elias turned his glowing blue eyes to the Mystic Crystal in his grasp. He hoped to immediately awaken his Quantum Sight. The special ocular ability was initially awakened after reaching the first stage as a Quantum Seeker.
The Observer Stage.
The Observer Stage was also known as the Quantum Perception Stage. Reaching the Observer Stage would allow the Quantum Seeker to awaken Quantum Sight, which grants the ability to perceive quantum changes in real time, including the ability to see microorganisms with the naked eye at the early stages.
The Quantum Sight was the foundational ability needed to facilitate the power to see multiple potential outcomes or possibilities an action would yield. It was equivalent to gaining the ability to perceive the effect after the cause.
—It was essentially predicting the future, but with better precision.
Drawing upon his past experience, Elias was confident that he could maximize the use of the Quantum Sight, even in the initial stage in this world. As long as it wasn’t too far into the future, he could perceive everything as if it were a simulation to avoid unnecessary conflict.
To ensure his safety, he needed the Quantum Sight, not only to escape his current situation, but also to navigate the outside world.
With that in mind, Elias planned on using the Mystic Crystals to exchange for this ability. Naturally, it would be limited by his current strength, but he didn’t mind. He believed it should be enough to survive his current predicament.
