While Neo continued to chat with the guard, he made sure to keep his tone light and friendly, trying to build a rapport with the man.
The guard, seemingly amused by his humor, began to relax and lean in closer.
"So, what do you need exactly?" the guard asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
Neo smiled and launched into a charming tale. "Well, I’m looking for something that will make me look classy, but not too formal. A coat would be great, maybe something in black? And a pants to match. "
"My co-worker is also looking for something similar, but she’s more into...simple fashion. Something with a jacket would be perfect for her."
The guard raised an eyebrow but couldn’t help but chuckle at Neo’s request. "And what about shoes? You want those too?"
Neo nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, that would be great. Rejected shoes are fine, as long as they’re not too damaged. We’re on a budget here."
The guard, who had a good impression of him, didn’t just take the items they needed.
Instead, he led them to a section of the warehouse packed with assorted items.
Clothes, shoes, belts, everything fashion-related. Even sunglasses were stacked in boxes. The place felt more like a night market than a storage area.
Someone who seemed to be running the operation called out the guard for letting them in.
