"Are you having second thoughts? We could stop, you know," he asked, his breath tickling her neck.
The contrast between his words and actions made Maya feel cornered—he really knew how to make her heart pound.
"I can always ask someone else... Maybe Hannah would be up for it..."
Maya grabbed his arm and shook her head. "No, please, do it with me," she pleaded.
At this point, she was already playing into his hands, and he leaned in to kiss her.
