Chapter 42: Hate Upright People The Most
As a devious person, Walker hates these noble and upright people the most. They all act as if they are powerful, but in reality, they are not good people.
People in evil ways act according to their hearts, do good or evil, and are not bound by any rules or regulations. However, those famous and upright people are all sanctimonious and have a bunch of high-sounding principles, which are simply unpleasant to the eye no matter how you look at them.
Walker didn't want to bother with these trivial matters, but then he thought that this matter was strange and he was a little hesitant as he thought maybe he could get something good out of it.
Gansler immediately took out a card and said, "Senior, this is the VIP card of our Hait Hotel. It has a limit of 1,000,000. It's just a small token of appreciation. Please don't despise it."
If there is a benefit, there will be temptation. Walker picked up the card and took a look at it. He smiled and said, "Interesting, 1,000,000 should be a lot. The old man surnamed Colton is not tempted. Could it be that he is worth more?"
Gansler smiled awkwardly and said, "Sorceror Colton has always lived a secluded life. He just wants to live a leisurely life now that he is old. Sometimes we younger generations are embarrassed to disturb him."
"Sure, I have nothing to do anyway, I'll help you take a look then."
"Thank you, senior. Thank you, senior."
Gansler heaved a sigh of relief and said, "The boss will come to Hail City in a week. I'd like to ask you to help me with my opinion. I don't want anything to go wrong with such a large investment."
"Don't worry."
Walker left in a swagger, but did not leave the hotel. He turned around and checked into a room to rest.
