Chapter 8: You Are An Guinea Pig Of System
The sky in the mountains seemed to get brighter earlier. When the sky was just beginning to turn pale, people could be vaguely seen on the road.
Even some diligent villagers are busy harvesting in the fields before dawn, waiting to rush to the town to attend the market as soon as daybreak. Those who live farther away have to run to the farmers' market in the city to sell their vegetables.
"Is he, is he okay?" Lana changed into a new set of clothes, long sleeves and long pants, and looked a little uneasy.
Gand was still unconscious, but Walker had already dragged him outside from Lana's yard and gave him some more nourishment to ensure that the boy could get some more sleep.
Walker also put on his clothes and said with a smile, "Don't worry, sister-in-law, he will be fine when he wakes up and will just think he was drunk. But next time we come, I promise he won't hate us."
"Yeah!" Lana nodded slightly. This pretty widow with a gentle and kind face might only reveal a slightly ferocious look of hatred at this moment.
Looking at her pretty face, Walker wanted to take advantage of her, but the shabby minibus had already arrived on the mountain road.
There were many people on the bus going to the morning market to sell vegetables and eggs. Walker didn't know if it was because she remembered yesterday's experience, but after getting on the bus, Lana blushed and sat next to a fat aunt.
Seeing that everyone was watching, Walker collected his thoughts and sat down quietly in the front seat.
He closed his eyes slightly, and suddenly he felt as if his body had lost balance and fell into the water.
Frightened, Walker swam hurriedly, but was surprised to find that he could actually breathe in this dark water.
