Chapter 22 Too Special
Lined up before the magnificent Academy, a total of 5,000 Chosen Challengers stood with proud smiles on their faces.
At the front stood an imposing woman, flanked by the Academy's Professors.
Strands of the woman's pink hair peeked out from under her large, old brown hat—the type traditionally worn by Wizards before they were referred to as Mages.
She was the one who shouldered the title of Principal of the Academy, Laurence Manavona.
Rumors said she's reached the age of 300th when these students haven't even been able to walk on their two legs. But rumors remained as mere rumors. No one believes such a ridiculous thing. Laurence, after all, was a Human.
Just by looking at her spotless, pinkish skin, anyone could see how youthful the Principal was. There's still a boundless vigor hidden beneath her appearance, which could only be found inside the youths.
But as the saying goes, "There's no affairs without exception," Laurence was considered an exception to the aging rule. Only the Vice Principal, Monica, and a small number of people know about the fact.
Laurence's eyes fixed on the students' faces, gauging their expressions. Some looked excited, while others worried, with several individuals who had that confident smile on their faces mingling among them.
After some time of silence, Laurence finally spoke up.
