Chapter 382: Mystery of Annalise’s Origin (Part Three)
"I have a plan but I will need your help." The Light Queen said while looking at the only people whom she could trust at the moment to save their realm.
"No matter what you want us to do, we will do it, Your Majesty." The Summer King answered in a determined tone, accompanied by the agreements from the rest of the council and the Light Guardians.
A sigh of relief left the Queen’s lips before she started explaining them her plan. In no time, everyone was heading to finish their part of the plan.
The Queen herself once again launched into the air, summoning her powers to fight against the dark energy as well as the purple-eyed man. Along with the Light Guardians, she cast the first powerful spell to trap the twelve Shadowlords and their leader in the magical web of elements which would keep them locked for a while - at least, long enough for the Queen to finish the rest of her plan.
Then, she started casting the reverse spell of the wards of the Seelie Realm to keep anything or anyone from escaping out, only leaving a fragment of it near the hidden portal.
It didn’t take long before the dark energy realized that it had been trapped inside the confinements of a realm it had already destroyed to a great level. It became even more deadly and crazier, pushing against the Light Queen’s powers that were getting weaker by the moment. All the spells that she had used needed a lot of magical energy and it had been hours since she started fighting against the dark energy. In addition to all these, she was heavily injured with her internal force damaged. She could hardly keep up anymore, but she still persisted to give the Light Guardians enough time to evacuate all the Seelies from the Realm to the safe paradise that she created.
One would ask why she ever thought of creating a secret realm all of a sudden, but she barely had any answer. One day she just woke up and thought of the idea. The thought of anything bad ever happening to their realm just struck her all of a sudden and despite the fact that all the realms had been living in peace and prosperity, she still ended up preparing for the worst because something kept ushering her to do it. Little did she knew that she would eventually need to use the secerat realm one day.
A tug on her heart pulled her attention out of her misery and toward that familiar feeling that filled every single cell in her body with a warmth that she so desperately seeked in that moment. This time, there was not a single tear rolling down her cheeks but a flood of tears that she had been holding back all this time. She broke down completely as she entirely shut down the soulmate link between herself and her mate who was trying to reach out to her as he surely felt some sort of discomfort through their shared bond.
Her heart ached as she shut him out and sealed off their bond, right before placing another spell on the wards to keep him out of the realm. She knew that he would eventually take down the spell but she still hoped that it would stop him until she was completely gone... because she was now beyond the point of saving.
She noticed the cracks in the seal that she had placed over the purple-eyed man and the Shadowlords, signaling that they were about to break off the seal. The dark energy was also getting closer to break through her shield of light, putting further strain over her powers and making her weaker by the minute.
