Annalise was ready to pull away completely from the man but was stopped as Valerius’ hands tightened around her and he pulled her back against his body.
She opened her mouth to speak but her words were cut off by a soft sensation against her lips. Instead of words, a gasp escaped her mouth as she returned the kiss. All the resistance left her body in seconds as she melted against him.
Just like that, the innocent mood changed into one of passion.
Valerius pulled away. They stayed there, silent, staring into one another, until the man surged forward once more, capturing her lips with another passionate kiss. His lips moved expertly against hers and made her close her eyes as she enjoyed the kiss.
Annalise felt her heart beating hard once more, and she feared it would burst out of her chest. At this point, it was such a common reaction of her heart every time she got intimate with her husbands, just like how her body burned with desire and her soul danced in happiness.
Her lips parted, allowing his lips to dart into her mouth, tasting her, savoring every corner inside. Their tongues tangled together, battling for dominance. She felt her knees turning to jelly, and she clung to him for support. Despite their standing positions, she was lucky he was keeping her upright, with a gentle yet firm hand, pressed lightly on her lower back.
She was fortunate he was still carrying her.
A small moan seeped out from deep within her throat, and another one shortly followed. It was almost like she was purring in pleasure.
She wrapped her hands around his shoulders and buried her fingers into his long silver hair. The satisfaction she felt was real, almost overwhelming. Her senses went numb when he would greedily suckle on her tongue.
