Chapter 304: Honey Dew Elixir
Annalise blinked her eyes open and moved to a sitting position in her bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. Though Damien had accompanied her to bed the previous night, she could slready feel his presence in the basement of thd castle slong wiyh Kenric and Valerius.
The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow on the room. But what caught Annalise’s attention wasn’t the sunlight—it was the sight of Pristine, the garden fairy of the Cursed Castle, floating near her bed while humming a sweet, melodic tune.
"Good morning, Annalise," Pristine chimed, her voice tinkling like wind chimes. "I hope I didn’t startle you too much."
Suppressing her initial shock, Annalise managed a half-smile. "No, you didn’t startle me. But... why are you in my room?"
Pristine’s twinkling eyes sparkled mischievously. "I have a surprise for you! Come on, hurry up and get dressed. We have a busy day ahead."
Annalise’s curiosity was piqued despite her shock of seeing Pristine in her room all of a sudden. She quickly scrambled out of bed, donning her clothes as Pristine floated by, her dress fluttering gracefully. Once ready, she followed the fairy through the corridors of the Castle, her heart racing with anticipation.
As they reached the garden, Annalise couldn’t help but gasp in awe. The flowers seemed to bloom even more vibrantly, and the air was filled with a gentle, inviting fragrance, but... it was a Winter morning.
"How come the flowers are blooming in such cold?" She couldn’t help but ask.
"Don’t forget that you are living in no normal Castle. Anything is possible here." Pristine replied as she showed Annalise the variety of flowers heat were in full bloom.
