Chapter 181: A Warm Embrace (Part One)
Annalise didn’t reply and just made her way straight toward the bed and climbed on it. Taking off the outer robe, she made herself comfortable in Damien’s arms who immediately welcomed her with a warm smile.
He took a deep breath to inhale her scent before he whispered, "You smell so good, Princess." His fingers found their way into her hair which felt so smooth and silky to touch.
Annalise inhaled deeply as she snuggled her face into his shoulder and wrapped her arm around his waist. She remained in that position for a long while without moving or even speaking a single word and just when Damien started thinking that she had already fallen asleep because of her labored breathing and how silent her thoughts were, she suddenly pulled away from his arms and moved into a sitting position.
But she didn’t stop there, instead, she was soon sitting on top of him while straddling his thighs while her knees rested on the comforter on either side of his hips.
"What is it, Princess?" Damien asked as he raised himself a little bit with the support of his elbows. There was a seriousness in his eyes that clearly showed how worried he was about her.
"I want you." Annalise didn’t waste even a single second before she told him exactly what she wanted and if her words weren’t already clear enough, she added to disperse any sort of confusion that he had about her words. "I want you to make love to me."
"Stars, Princess!" Damien whispered as he moved to a complete sitting position with his eyes fixed on her while his heart, soul, and body were on fire because of her request. This was undoubtedly the very first time she had taken the initiative to ask for something so bold.
"Are you sure, Princess?" He asked while brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear while his other hand moved to wrap around her waist.
Annalise snaked her hands over his shoulders and locked her fingers together behind his back as she brought her face closer to his and whispered, "More than you can believe, My Lord. I’m very much aware of what I need, and right now... I need you..."
