Chapter 141: More Attacks
While Annalise was on her way to the Mortal Realm along with Leela and the group of men from the Sky Castle, uproars were going on in both Mortal Realm and Seelie Empire.
The Portal Hall in the Woyong City in the Mortal Realm and the Portal Hall in the Winter Valley of the Seelie Empire were attacked the previous night by a mysterious force and just like the previous two incidents of the portal halls in these two realms, once again the guardian families had disappeared to somewhere.
Everyone was in a panic as no one understood exactly what happened to the Portal Hall in the darkness of the night. Hence, two more mysterious incidents shook the magical world, and still, people couldn’t make themselves think that there was something dangerous brewing under the shadows of their world.

"How long will it take us to reach the shared border between the Mortal Realm and the Seelie Empire?" Annalise asked Leela when they all stopped at noon for a short break.
"Luckily, we are already pretty near the shared border. We will be able to enter the Mortal Realm before sunset at our current speed. But..." Leela hurriedly looked around toward the group of men who were sitting in a circle and discussing their own things at a distance from the two of them.
Making sure that no one was listening to their discussion, Leela stepped closer to Annalise, and while bringing her face closer to the latter’s ears, she continued, "... but the Portal Hall we all are heading to is located near the Capital City. It will take us more than a couple of days to reach there."
The girl stepped away once she was done speaking but she still spared a quick look in the direction of the men only to find Ezra looking right back at her. Both their expressions immediately turned sour and they both hurriedly looked away.
"Ain’t there a faster way to reach the capital?" Annalise asked as she looked at Leela with hopeful eyes. She not only wanted to return to her husbands’ side as soon as possible but she also wanted to find the answers as early as possible because she had a feeling deep down that they didn’t have enough time on their hands.
"Oh! There is one that I know of." Leela answered as she took a seat on the little rock opposite Annalise. However, the girl didn’t appear even the least bit excited while answering which made Annalise a little bit skeptical.
"What is that method? The one that can make us reach the Capital City as soon as possible." She pressed and waited for the girl to answer.
