Chapter 60: Kisses and Sparks**
Valerius deepened the kiss, his tongue claiming Annalise’s mouth with powerful, luxurious strokes, causing every fiber in her body to come to life.
Annalise felt her mind becoming numb and all that she could think of was the man and his kiss. A soft escaped her lips as she felt her body succumbing to his command.
"Careful with those noises, Annalise," he suddenly warned in a low and heavy voice ad he pulled away from the kiss only to trail his lips over her jawline.
And though a voice in her mind was telling Annalise that she should his warning seriously, she was just unable to hold back the next moan that skipped her mouth as she felt him placing a kiss right under her chin.
Valerius suddenly stopped and pulled away to look at her, and Annalise noticed the way his ice-blue eyes turned dark as he whispered, "I warned you."
He didn’t give her time to think or even process his words before his mouth was once again claiming her, swallowing all her moans. His arms enveloped her and she felt one of his hands coming to rest on her shoulder over the hem of her night robe.
Annalise felt overwhelmed by the pleasure that had started building inside her, a feeling that now had become quite familiar to her.
His fingers brushing against her skin sent sparks flying through her entire body, kindling a need that had started growing inside her. The desire to surrender to him and also to mark him as hers - was something she never felt before. Never knew she wanted it.
The need gripped her low, tingling and pulsing and calling for attention. She found herself craving something so primal that she could no longer tell exactly what she wanted at this point.
