Dot's perched on his chest, her tiny form leaning forward inquisitively. "Maybe it has to do with pushing past the beginner stuff? I'm still trying to figure out what exactly the Doctor pulled from me. Maybe it'll let me do what I already do, just better?"
Elias hummed faintly, trying to process her suggestion. "The more I think about all of this, the more overwhelming it feels. It's like every time I try to understand, the rules get rewritten."
