Chapter 106: DIVORCE AND AN UNEXPECTED GUEST
"I don’t need someone to accompany me." Hazel was annoyed beyond words. In passing, she had not yet shown, but if you paid close attention, you would see her little bum there.
"As your good sister-in-law. I need to accompany you because I care about you. You have never gone through a wedding before, so I can give you an input or two."
"Good sister-in-law, my ass," Hazel muttered under her breath. She gave her a look. "It’s too late for an input. It’s already the final check; there is no need for the input."
However, Laurel brushed it off. She walked around and acted like it was her wedding instead.
Hazel watched her, but she said nothing about it. She could tell something was bothering Laurel, but she didn’t know what it was, nor did she want to know.
They were not close after all; she had no obligation to ask about her well-being.
Laurel had this very bad habit, which could piss someone off, especially people around her, very easily, as if she was born with that kind of talent. It was very impressive.
As Hazel cursed both Ranon and Laurel in her mind, Laurel was complaining about the centerpiece and said it was not blue enough for her liking; Hazel was done with her.
She called Ranon.
"I am in the middle of a meeting; I will call you later."
Hazel didn’t know whether she had to be flattered or happy, but Ranon had this habit of picking up her phone call even though he was in the middle of a meeting, only to say he would call her back later.
