Chapter 2: IN THE THROES OF PASSION
River's mind was still reeling with the weirdest thing that had ever happened to her. A second ago, she was dying under that bridge, drowning in that river. But a second later, she was safe and sound, being in the same fancy hotel room with the most famous young businessman in this country.
Ranon Leighton.
However, her mind stopped thinking straight when River realized her predicament. This hot feeling that she felt was very weird, but she knew exactly what it was, she encountered one before.
It was aphrodisiac.
Now that River realized it, she could feel that the urge was getting stronger, the urge to jump on Ranon. She wondered how it felt like to be with him. She heard this ridiculous rumor about how Ranon didn't have any interest in women.
"Get out of here!" Ranon said through his gritted teeth. He bent his body over the table, his eyes were ablaze with lust and rage.
From the looks of it, River was not the only one under this shitty drug. What kind of situation was she in?!
And to make matters worse, her legs gave in, she dropped to her knees and breathed raggedly. What the hell.
"Look!" River raised her hand to stop Ranon from shouting at her. Her voice sounded very foreign. This was not her voice. "I want to leave, but I can't!"
