Chapter 204: Pulsing Heat
Nathan was still in shock, his lips moving as if he wanted to protest, but all that came out was a faint mumble.
"...Eh... that... was that... my kid...?"
Morvessa, still perched on his shoulder, immediately scoffed. Her wings fluttered irritably as her narrowed eyes darted from Lilith to the "child" now unconscious in Lilith’s arms.
"So... you can have a kid just by using fluids?!" she shouted in a jealous tone. "SERIOUSLY? That fluid... with the fluids from those barbaric rabbits... and it becomes... a baby?!"
Nathan flailed. "Eh?! No, I... I didn’t... this isn’t my fault!"
Lilith sighed, her voice flat but carrying a heavy exhale.
"Don’t be jealous, Morvessa. This wasn’t intentional," she said softly. She looked at Nathan for a moment, then sighed again. "And yes... our Farm Project is actually almost finished. Nathan just needs to find the livestock monsters."
Nathan stared at her, still half in disbelief. "...Farm Project... almost finished?"
Lilith nodded slightly. She then turned to Morvessa with a firm look.
"Morvessa, help him find those creatures. That way Nathan can focus on getting stronger by exploring the Snowy Area and the Dark Area. Don’t let him waste time hunting livestock."
Morvessa immediately straightened her small body, clenching her fists.
"Fine! But what kind of animals am I supposed to catch?!"
