Chapter 16: Puripee
They finally arrived near the cave—right where Nathan had felt that strange, overwhelming urge to goon last night. Domina was already there, holding two deer, freshly cleaned and still a little wet.
"You finished cleaning them?" Livia asked.
Domina gave a silent nod, but her gaze was fixed on the boar Livia was carrying. When they were close—just about a meter apart—Livia smiled and said, "He managed to catch this delicious boar..."
Domina stepped toward Nathan, her expression softening into something almost puppy-like. But with her towering height, the effect was more awkward than cute.
"A... uh, what?" Nathan asked, slightly unnerved.
"Can we eat this one today?" she asked, eyes wide with hope. "The two deer Livia and I caught are for tomorrow. I promise I'll share them with you..."
Nathan sighed. "Y-yeah, sure..." he replied.
Domina smiled brightly.
"Where are you going to store those two deer?" Nathan asked, puzzled.
"Obviously, in the storage," Livia answered casually from beside him.
Nathan frowned in confusion.
