Chapter 4: Looking down on the naked elf
His face was strikingly similar to hers except for his chiseled jawline and firm cheeks. His eyes were the same green color as hers.
He was dressed somewhat comically in colorful clothes and had a cape draped over his shoulders.
His eyes furrowed when he saw Alex.
"Hey, Dad," Sylra said and rushed to hug him.
"Hey, sweetie," he replied and bent to hug her.
"This is Alex," she said and pointed to him. "I found him by the Geround Pound. I think he's new."
At that statement, the man straightened and looked at Alex with a look of confusion on his face. "New?" he asked Sylra.
"Yes, Dad," she replied. "Alex, show him your eyes."
Alex scowled but turned to face her dad.
Her dad gasped when he saw them. "Your eyes are red," he said. "How?"
"I don't know... sir," Alex replied.
