Legend of Wyatt

Chapter 1873: Reunion After Many Years

With one arm holding his son and the other arm around Jovie Lee.

At this moment, Wyatt Barnes felt like the happiest man on earth.

"Jovie... Kalel is already this big; let’s have a wedding ceremony."

Wyatt softly said to Jovie Lee.

Currently, Jovie Lee was not married to him, and at most, she could only be considered his "fiancée."

Only after a wedding ceremony Jovie Lee would be considered his wife.

"I am waiting for Sister Keer."

However, upon hearing Wyatt’s words, Jovie Lee firmly said, "I had agreed with her from the start; we would be your brides together... Now that she’s trapped in the Upper Domain’s Fire Worship Sect, how can I be at ease marrying you? Please promise me, or else I will not be at peace."

"Why do you do this to yourself..."

Wyatt chuckled bitterly.

However, when his eyes met Jovie Lee’s unwavering gaze, he couldn’t help but soften, "Alright, I promise you... But even though we haven’t had the wedding ceremony yet, in my heart, whether it’s you or Keer, both are already my ’wives’!"

Upon hearing this, Jovie Lee said nothing, only hugging Wyatt tightly, savoring this tender moment.

Jovie Lee held him very tightly, seemingly fearing losing Wyatt the next moment.

"You rascal... When do you plan to go to the Upper Domain?"

After a while, Jovie Lee softly asked.

"Soon."

Wyatt’s gaze flickered as he responded.

"You must bring Sister Keer back... along with her child."

Jovie Lee said, "It’s such a pity that I’m useless and can’t help you."

As she continued, Jovie Lee’s tone carried a hint of guilt, her face showing remorse.

"How can you be useless? Don’t ever say that again! If not for you, how would I have such a lovely son?"

Wyatt shook his head, then glanced at his son cradled in his left arm. He noticed the little guy had fallen asleep leaning against him and was sleeping deeply, undisturbed by their conversation.

"You’ve been gone for over three months, and Kalel started asking about you a month ago. He even asked me if you had abandoned him... Though I explained, he still often wakes up from dreams, calling ’Dad’."

Jovie Lee followed Wyatt’s gaze to the little guy, showing a pleased expression.

Earlier, she worried her son, who hadn’t seen Wyatt as a father, would feel distant. But she didn’t expect that after a short time of interaction, her son fully accepted Wyatt as his father.

Perhaps due to their blood connection, Kalel, despite not having spent much time with Wyatt, relied heavily on him.

"Helen Sinclair and Princess Irene have returned."

Suddenly, as if remembering something, Jovie Lee looked at Wyatt and said.

"I heard from Dad."

Wyatt nodded.

Jovie Lee leaned against Wyatt, softly saying, "I know you’re not in the mood for other women right now, but Helen Sinclair and Princess Irene are truly different. Since arriving at the Mansion of Azure Clouds, they’ve treated Mom as their own, caring for her deeply. I know it’s because of you that they’re so attentive to Mom."

"Wait until Keer returns, then you can take them in... I don’t mind."

As she continued, Jovie Lee was the first to express her stance, as if not the least bit jealous.

Of course, if she claimed not to be jealous, that would be untrue.

However, she was also a kind-hearted woman, understanding Christina Lee’s feelings, and was moved by Helen and Princess Irene’s affection for Wyatt, so she didn’t oppose them.

"What are you saying? Nothing has been set in stone!"

Wyatt shook his head, simultaneously holding Jovie Lee tighter. Her understanding almost melted his heart.

How had Wyatt Barnes managed to find such a wife in this lifetime?

It was simply a tremendous blessing!

"Back then, their feelings towards me were merely youthful infatuations... After so many years, perhaps they’ve long moved on from those thoughts."

Wyatt said.

Wyatt hadn’t noticed that as he finished speaking, a bitter smile appeared at the corner of Jovie Lee’s mouth.

Because she knew deep down that even after so many years, Helen and Princess Irene’s hearts had never changed and always remained focused on her man.

Of course, she was aware of this, yet chose not to reveal it.

In the following days, Wyatt did not go out, instead staying by his wife’s and son’s side, spending quality time with them.

It wouldn’t be long before he had to leave the Lower Domain and head to the Upper Domain.

Thus, he cherished the time he had left with his wife and son.

A few days later, Asa Honorston came to find Wyatt, "Junior House Master, the House Master has asked me to invite you over... Besides him and his wife, Helen and Irene are also there."

As he continued, Asa added a sentence.

It was inevitable, what was meant to happen would happen.

Wyatt took a deep breath, nodding, "Please wait a moment, Elder Honorston."

After bidding farewell to Jovie Lee, Wyatt patted his son next to Jovie Lee on the head before following Asa to the mansion where his father and mother lived.

On the way, despite having been mentally prepared, Wyatt felt somewhat uneasy.

In a while, he would meet Helen Sinclair and Princess Irene again.

Although he still wasn’t mentally prepared, Wyatt Barnes knew he couldn’t escape and shouldn’t escape... Some things, you just have to face them personally!

"Dad, Mom."

After greeting Lanni Barnes and Christina Lee, Wyatt’s gaze fell on the two young women beside Christina.

These two young women were stunningly beautiful, standing there exuding charm at every moment, as if they made everything around them pale in comparison.

With just one glance, Wyatt recognized the two women as Helen Sinclair and Princess Irene!

Though many years had passed, Wyatt still recognized them at once. Their appearances had changed quite a bit compared to the past, but aside from losing the innocence of youth, there weren’t any major changes.

As Wyatt watched Helen and Princess Irene, they were also looking at him.

"Wy... Wyatt..."

Upon seeing Wyatt, Helen and Princess Irene were stunned for a moment, then snapped back to reality, their cheeks involuntarily tinged with a blush, showing the shyness of young girls.

Even though it had been many years since they last saw Wyatt.

However, in their minds, the last time they saw Wyatt felt as if it was just yesterday.

Because, ever since coming to the Mansion of Azure Clouds, except for accompanying Christina, they had been focused solely on their training, completely disregarding the passage of time.

Their feelings for Wyatt were the same as they were back then!

"The thing I least wanted to happen has finally happened."

Seeing the shy demeanor of the two girls meeting him, Wyatt knew that their feelings for him were as before, and had not faded with time.

This, too, was what he least wanted to see.

However, even if he didn’t want to admit it, he had to admit that after discovering that Helen and Princess Irene hadn’t moved on from him, there was a part of him that felt a little smug inside...

After all, it indirectly highlighted his unusual charm, which satisfied a man’s vanity.

"Long time no see."

Wyatt looked at the two girls and greeted them with a smile.

Unlike Wyatt’s composure, the two girls felt somewhat restrained facing him, so nervous that they couldn’t speak for a while.

"Dad, Mom... I’d like to talk to them alone."

Noticing the girls’ restraint, Wyatt turned to Lanni Barnes and Christina Lee, speaking to them telepathically.

"Wyatt, you better not bully Helen or Irene... Otherwise, I won’t let you off lightly!"

Christina replied telepathically while adding a warning.

"Talk to them well."

In contrast to Christina’s telepathic response, Lanni’s reply was much simpler.

In a moment, Lanni Barnes and Christina Lee found an excuse to leave, and for the moment, only Wyatt, Helen, and Irene were left on the scene.

After Lanni and Christina left, Helen and Irene only grew more tense and were still unable to speak.

"I understand your feelings."

Seeing the two girls silent, Wyatt could only speak himself, straightforward and direct from the start.

The two girls immediately grew even more tense.

"I’m sure you know it’s impossible for me to accept you all at once... Also, for the foreseeable future, I’ll be in the Upper Domain. You’ve probably heard about my fiancée Keer being taken by the Fire Worship Sect in the Upper Domain."

Wyatt stated bluntly, "Before I rescue Keer, I can’t accept any other woman... because that would be disrespectful to her and to you! If I really were that kind of man, I’m sure you’d only look down on me."

Hearing Wyatt’s words, Helen and Irene both nodded.

They were not surprised by Wyatt’s words.

Moreover, they understood Wyatt, knowing that he would never engage in romance with them before rescuing Keer.

Just as Wyatt said, if he could date them at this moment, they would only think less of him, considering him an irresponsible man.

"Besides, I have another confidant..."

Immediately after, Wyatt thought of Winnie Romero and spoke again.

"Is it Winnie?"

Helen asked.

"You know Winnie?"

Wyatt was stunned.

"We heard Sister Jovie mention Winnie... that Winnie once even risked her life for you!"

Irene said.

Both Irene and Helen, upon learning from Jovie Lee about the existence of ’Winnie Romero,’ were very envious of Winnie.

Simply because Winnie had earned the approval of Jovie and Keer and touched Wyatt’s heart.

In terms of order of acquaintance, Winnie actually met Wyatt after them.

Nonetheless, they admired Winnie greatly... because she was a woman who dared to love and hate, willing to risk her own life for the one she loved!

That’s not something just anyone can do.

"That’s exactly what happened."

Wyatt nodded, his thoughts drifting away as memories of the past surfaced in his mind once more.
