Another tremor rumbled through the Dungeon walls as dust trickled from the cracked ceiling above. Ethan narrowed his eyes, gripping the hilt of his sword tightly.
"That was the third one," he muttered.
Beside him, Lili clutched her crossbow, eyes alert and scanning the darkened corridor of the lower floors.
"Ethan," she said, voice low, "that didn’t feel like a normal collapse. That... that felt like something moving."
He nodded slowly. "I know."
They had only planned to descend a few levels today—to warm up after a few days of rest, maybe pick up some more loot. But as they reached the fifteenth floor, the tremors started.
