Orario’s air was thick with tension as Ethan and Lili hurried through the market. The roar from the distant lowers wasn’t like any dungeon creature—they both felt it deep in their bones. The city, usually so alive with colors and sounds, now felt muted and uncertain.
"Do you think it came from the Dungeon?" Lili asked, voice taut as she gripped her shopping bag.
Ethan paused mid-step, brow creasing. "Could be... or maybe the sewers under the city. Nothing natural, though."
Their steps slowed as vendors glanced nervously around, whispering about monsters emerging near the surface. Street kids clutched their parents’ hands. A sharp tension had gripped Orario, and the two of them were right in the middle of it, caught between curiosity and dread.
"Let’s drop off the supplies first," Ethan decided, breaking the silence. "Then I’ll ask around."
They retraced their steps to the church, weaving through alleyways and echoing shadows. It felt strange to walk back to safety when danger was brewing just beneath their feet.
