He shook his head and tried to remember, but whenever he did, the image of that man he met years ago slipped away.
’Was that person my grandpa?’
Though he could barely remember anything, he was pretty sure that man was an even bigger asshole than him.
Honestly, that was probably the only real proof they were family.
’So it runs in the family, huh?’
Growing up, he always thought he was just a total asshole because of how he looked down on others.
At least now there was a reason why his personality turned out so twisted.
’No wonder I used to see my father crying in the corner while my mom gaslit and manipulated him into thinking she was the best woman he could ever have.’
’But then again, most women were like that nowadays, so I doubted she got it from my grandfather.’
Sadly, his logic was foolproof and could even be backed by statistics.
