The dwarves started closing in.
Luck stayed calm, but his grip on the bat tightened.
They weren't just puffed-up weirdos with weapons—these guys moved like a squad.
With barely a signal, Red flanked to the right.
Green curved to the left. Blue took the center, eyes dead on him.
"Okay, cool," Luck muttered. "Just casually getting surrounded by three angry garden gnomes with murderous eyes. No big deal."
They didn't respond. Just kept closing in.
Luck inhaled slow—then launched forward.
He moved fast—bat raised, body low. His shoes scraped dirt as he drove straight.
The dwarf raised his axe in defense.
