Chapter 4: Liora The Gold Digger
"Hey, what happened here?"
A tall girl with golden-brown hair and sparkling emerald green eyes asked, her voice laced with curiosity. She was slightly shorter than Lucien, while her voluptuous figure was accentuated by the form-fitting gown she wore.
Her gaze was one of confusion as she scanned the crowd gathered in the corridor, finally landing on Lucien.
"Lucien!"
However, as soon as she saw his figure, her eyes glowed beautifully as if finding a gem in a rogue.
Then, she completely ignored the crowd and ran towards him with a light steps with a little joy on her face.
The way her eyes lit up, you'd think she'd just spotted her long-lost lover.
"Liora?"
Only, Lucien didn't seem to be happy after seeing her figure.
"Hey, you are here? I finally found you. Hurry up and give me a few hundred gold coins. I found these nice earrings, and I don't have any money left on me."
The reason was self-evident as the moment she came near, she grabbed Lucien's arm and asked for money.
