Once the moving of goods was complete, the adjacent room was emptied except for the shelves. In this room, there were additions. Thinly split firewood was stacked under the desk, interspersed with twigs and dry leaves to serve as kindling.
Preparations for burning were complete.
I approached behind Jura Lakramanus and removed the gag. This was the final opportunity. Surely, there were one or two things he wanted to say to me. However, Jura, after the gag was removed, said nothing and stared at me with a stern expression.
