Chapter 439: Mega Evolution!
The rookie Trainer named Tana lost her first battle just like that. Her two companions quickly went up to comfort her, saying that she had done well. Terrance felt that staying here any longer might not be appropriate, so he hurriedly found an excuse to leave.
However, he had not gone far when his communicator suddenly received a message.
“Huh? It’s Ayan. Could it be that something happened at the Gym?” Terrance wondered as he opened the message and carefully read through it. Before long, his expression changed drastically.
That sudden shift in his aura made even the Ice Vulpix on his shoulder shudder. It had no idea why Terrance’s expression had suddenly turned so serious.
“Mega Evolution?”
“Altaria… evolutionary stone?”
Terrance’s pupils contracted. Mega Evolution was one of the few fragmented memory left to him from the TV anime in his past life. He had looked into it further, but it was merely a legend circulating in the Kalos region. At the very least, he had not yet seen any Trainer using Mega Evolution at this point in time.
As for the conditions required for Mega Evolution, Terrance had a slight understanding, but not in great detail.
“Little Vulpix, can you return to the Poké Ball for now?” Terrance spoke to Vulpix. After recalling it into the Poké Ball, he immediately headed up the mountain to meet with Master Victor.
