Chapter 434: Anti-Primordial Meeting
While Kael was busy with his operations at the Empyrean Dust Galaxy, a meeting was taking place with him as the topic billions of light-years away in another galaxy.
Ma’abu and his cohorts had left heaven, finding that if they wanted to enforce their ideology on their civilization, they would need extra help.
On a small desolate exoplanet close to the edge of this nameless galaxy. The barren land of this planet was lit by the light coming from the starry sky.
Thousands of shuttles were parked all around the planet, casting their scanner beams and aiming their magic cannons at the sky.
Up above, more than a hundred distant objects could be seen. From the shapes and sizes, it was clear that those objects could very well be arkships.
A hundred arkships, all parked at the same place. If not the Primordial Lion, who could cause such a gathering?
"This goes against our ways, Ma’abu," A fat fiery lion exclaimed as he walked with a few other lions casually.
There were more than a hundred lions in this group, each of them was tier 6 in power level.
At tier six, all of them had already gotten access to the special Warp Effects of their powers. They could all move freely if they wanted to.
Yet they walked in groups today, and they walked at a normal pace.
"Our ways are no longer enough!" Ma’abu snarled. He was deeply annoyed right now and the calm expression on his face failed to hide this annoyance in his eyes.
Ma’abu walked at the front of the group of lions, keeping his head high.
"What do you mean?" Another Lion asked, "We specifically refrain from allying ourselves with other races.
It’s either they are vassals or they are foes, not allies. Doing this risks them seeing us as equals..." Another large lion countered.
"We are not equals," Ma’abu said, "No one is equal to the lions!"
"But none of them would see it that way," A spirit lion said.
Indeed, not all of them were in support of what Ma’abu was about to do.
"I understand that we shall be breaking traditions with this unlikely alliance, but it must be done," Ma’abu said.
The group was approaching a clearing that was flat and all the rocks were even.
The main reason they were walking normally despite having the ability to traverse the land easily was so that they could talk.
There was still time to turn back.
Ma’abu continued, "But let us not forget it is that same tradition that allowed a Primordial to almost bring us to the brink of extinction...TWICE!"
As Ma’abu talked, he had to take in deep breaths to calm himself down. It was unclear why he was angry at this moment.
The truth was that he was angry with many things not going his way, and he didn’t like it.
He was angry at Kael, he was angry at the Primordial Supporters, he was angry at the Dragons, he was angry at himself, and he was angry at Ibadon.
Especially Ibadon.
It was right before his eyes that Ibadon had literally turned into a black hole and swallowed a whole galaxy.
Is that normal? Ma’abu constantly asked himself.
Many of his friends and allies had died at that moment.
Ibadon was so powerful that it was a reason for Ma’abu to remain perpetually vexed.
How can anyone even think of fighting back, how did anyone even want to fight back?
On one front, he wanted the Primordial Lion dead. On another front, he wanted Ibadon dead.
Unfortunately, he currently lacks the ability to kill both of them.
"Our civilization needs some restructuring. If it means adjusting some of our traditions in order to preserve our legacy, so be it.
And if anyone thinks he has a better idea, feel free to lay it all out.
But while you’re thinking, remember that we have a FREAKING IMMORTAL ABOMINATION TRYING TO DRIVE US TO EXTINCTION!"
Ma’abu was livid, having to shout at the end of his sentence as he felt that was the only way for him to drive his point home at this time.
By shouting. He was truly frustrated.
There was total silence as they continued walking. The Anti-Primordial Coalition had been formed to cull the existence of the Primordial in their civilization.
Not once did it cross their minds that they could just leave the Primordial alone as that was not what their ideology stood for.
They wanted the Primordial Lion exterminated as much as Ma’abu, but even they had respect for their ancient lion traditions.
They were just about a hundred meters away from their destination.
"King Ma’abu, would your mentor be joining us?" One of the Lion Kings asked.
The moment this question was brought up, the faces of the other lion kings lit up with hope and expectations.
"Yes, King Ma’abu, she’s very strong and I heard she hasn’t joined the Lion System yet..." The Lion closest to Ma’abu said.
Ma’abu scoffed, "She’s being neutral for now. I met her right before I left heaven."
"Ooh, what did she say?" The Lion King asked. The others leaned forward to listen.
"She said she’ll consider joining one side when our goals seem less...childish," Ma’abu said, rolling his eyes.
His mentor’s words had been longer, more direct, and to the point. Most of these lions would see it as very insulting.
Even now, when they heard that she considered their Anti-Primordial Coalition childish, it instantly changed their expressions.
"If not that she’s so ancient, I would assume she’s just messing with us," One Lion King said.
"She sees things a bit differently, that’s all," Ma’abu defended.
"If we can get her to join, all those other ancient freaks would be willing to join.
I heard Exalon has been visiting the pyramids of many tier 7s..."
The conversation could not be continued as they had finally reached their location.
Already, four other mighty creatures were waiting here for Ma’abu and his group.
"Late, as expected of the lions," The loud voice of a woman vibrated the sparse molecules of the world around them.
Ma’abu set his serious gaze on the figure of a magnificent creature.
A dragon.
This dragon wasn’t like the other dragons that usually came out of the Draconic Heaven.
This dragon was long and serpentine like a snake. Its head was like that of a regular dragon except ancient and possessing long white whiskers.
The scales were a mix of beautiful green and blue that glittered and reflected the light from the starry sky.
Her horns were like deer antlers and the top of her head had a row of silky white horse-like mane that flowed down her back all the way to her tail.
Although the body of this dragon was serpentine, she still possessed four limbs like clawed reptilian feet.
However, this dragon did not have any wings like the dragons they were used to seeing.
"Victoria," Ma’abu acknowledged the presence of this mighty creature.
This was also a dragon.
If Kael were here, he would be surprised because this was what people from his past life would consider an eastern dragon.
Still a dragon, but slightly different in origin and body structure.
Knowing the true history behind the dragons and why they had two different appearances, Ma’abu was vexed all over again.
’It’s not fair!’ He thought to himself, ’Why can’t my lion race be affiliated to two laws...’
"I didn’t know you would come," Ma’abu said, masking his thoughts with a smile.
Victoria, the serpentine-looking dragon, stomped one of her claws on the rocky ground, cracking it.
"Empress Elizabeth gave us no choice, I took the initiative to make a difference," She said, her bright white eyes scanning Ma’abu and the lion kings behind him.
Victoria was large, easily towering above the other creatures present, mostly because she was levitating and standing at the same time.
Her long body coiled and twisted around her in a mesmerizing way.
"Ma’abu, I hope you know what you’re doing," Another female voice echoed from the side.
Ma’abu turned to settle his gaze on the creature beside Victoria.
A body perpetually covered in raging flames as if cursed by the Original Flame, she still possessed a certain beauty that just made one want to admire her.
She shifted and stood upright, slightly unfolding the massive wings tucked beside her.
A Phoenix, one of the flawed creatures of the universe that spawned from a hybrid abomination.
Ma’abu smiled, this race he actually liked very much.
Perhaps if not for the presence of so many powerful beings, this Phoenix’s heat would have spread and influenced the climate of this small planet.
"I have a plan, rest assured," Ma’abu nodded to the fiery phoenix to acknowledge her existence.
"The plan better be good, I really don’t like you lions, we haven’t forgotten what Noel did to us many years ago," The third guest spoke.
It sounded as if he had been waiting for the right opportunity to express his grievance and displeasure.
If Kael were here, he wouldn’t know what to say anymore and would have many puzzling thoughts running through his mind.
The owner of the third voice was a large white tiger...
