Chapter 324: Blood-Soaked
Hours had passed and the sky was getting dark.
The Super Mega Herd was no more. What had once been a wonder to Kael was now decimated into groups of displaced smaller herds.
The ground was red. Not grey, not brown like the color of dirt, just red. Soaked in the blood of the fallen. Hours had passed but the blood had not yet dried, it was still sticky.
The whole field now looked like bloody mud ground, almost a red swamp. The little amount of green came from the few tall grasses that had not been stomped or destroyed. But even they had lost their green luster. Their verdant body was smeared with the blood of those who had once fed on them.
The killing intent in the air was thick, almost breathable. The only thing that distracted everyone from thinking about it was the other operations currently going on.
Kael walked majestically through the blood-soaked battlefield. He didn’t mind the squishing sound he kept on hearing anytime his paws landed on the bloody mud. He wasn’t even focused on it.
His mind was on the expanding pool of Conquering Essence within his body. His main Conquering Essence pool was slowly getting bigger and deeper, and so was the pool he had from the heavenly beacon.
The heavenly beacon’s pool was mirroring his growth and expansion return.
He was getting stronger.
The Conquering Essence was thick in the air at this hour. Kael had conquered well, now, he was enjoying it.
He truly lived the feeling he had right now. To conquer, to subjugate, to force others to kneel before him, it filled his soul with a strange sense of joy. It felt intoxicating.
Just watching his army lay waste to their enemies and beat down all who raised their heads made him feel ecstatic. It had been this way for some time but today, Kael could feel it well.
