The demon lords read the contracts Siegfried had tossed down, but their reactions after reviewing the contents were not particularly good.

However, the problem was that demons needed soul energy to grow stronger, and entering into unfair contracts with humans was one of their main sources of soul energy.
They would grant their wish before stealing and absorbing their souls as payment, but if the contract did not include the soul as payment, then the demons would see no merit in accepting it.
